@durov Sit down Pavel. No app maker is above the country. If India wants to ban telegram it will. It can also ban you if needed. So shut up and do your business as you should.
Indian telecom Reliance is sabotaging access to Telegram for millions of users OUTSIDE India (including the UAE) via a rogue method called BGP hijacking.
The sabotage seems intentional, as Reliance has ignored multiple reports.
This may be part of a competitive war, as Reliance is partially owned by Meta — the company behind WhatsApp.
Network operators are advised to reject unauthorized BGP announcements from Reliance (AS18101) to prevent route hijacks and ensure stable Internet access for their users.
Such abuse of global Internet routing is alarming. I wouldn’t be surprised if Reliance/WhatsApp were also behind the recent lobbying effort to ban Telegram in India.
Spent 5 hours trying to setup dual boot for arch linux and literally had a fuckload of issues mainly the partition and corrupt files
Had to delete secure boot keys because the normal one wouldnt go because of some hp shit
The partition wasnt happily happening so had to remove paging file for d drive
The fucking boot partition on my ssd was 96 mb so systemboot wouldnt work even grub had issues
Deleted hp diagnostics from the efi
And of course the installation wasnt recognized by firmware so rechecked and it turned out some files were corrupt and then to fix it rm'ed the image and made a new directory for it and what not
And of course my friend chatgpt was optimistic at every step but we never made it for today
My Alacritty terminal setup
Transparent, minimal, and clean — the look and feel is far better than default terminals.
Smooth, lightweight, and insanely fast;
Alacritty just feels instant to use.

after moving from VS Code to Vim's "LazyVim"
- life changed entirely and now i am more focused on the terminal stuff
- and it literally took more than 5 months to just be familiar with it
- but overall it is too good and mostly it looks clean

i feel like just because arch is a rolling release, i might switch back to pop os sometime soon
daily driving a rolling release is... concerning, to say the least
College Freshers, don't fall for laptop FOMO.
A ₹30k Ryzen 5 laptop is enough for coding and projects. For ML, use cloud GPUs.
Don't burden your parents for a gaming laptop or MacBook. Buy it later with your own money.
A ₹30k laptop used well can give 10x returns. Been there.
Linux is never the path to be a cracked dev, most of linux users spends most of there time in ricing the os and then reverting back. What is the output of this. Using windows with wsl and sticking to your work is way better.
And later buy a mac if you want to use unix type os
started building Git from scratch with Go, as my first learning project.
- First, I have to figure out how to take inputs from the terminal with os.Args and make switch cases for different command actions.
- "Init cmd": Creating the .git folder with all the imp folders in it. Use os.MkdirAll for this.
(One thing I mostly missed is correct err handling.)
- "hash-object cmd": Creating blobs of file content. This is the deep arch of git (most people don't know about this).
We use "crypto/sha1", "compress/zlib" a lot in this.
- I learned you can't make dynamic strings in Go that easily, you have to use fmt.Sprintf.
But overall, the syntax of Go is really fun to use.
Linux audio is genuinely testing my patience 😭
Same laptop.
Same speakers.
But Windows sounds WAY louder than Linux even at 100%.
Tried Ubuntu, Fedora, and Mint… still the same issue 👀
Why does this still happen in 2026?
@MasalaMoodz@twstmode what kind of pathetic bitch are you just because someone isn't earning enough doesn't make his entire existence useless, they too have a life. Isn't there a single bit of humanity left in you guys
Girls, marry a rich guy or get ready to suffer, Men earning 50k can barely survive after paying their own bills so expecting a good life from them is just self-destruction.
