I’m all about majoring in major things. For example: Most people major in copywriting. Which is a minor thing in comparison with positioning. The right positioning > any copy you’ll ever write. Here’s another example. In funnels - most people try to major in framing the offers correctly. Which is minor in my opinion. I prefer to major in WHEN to show each offer. I think the skill that most people lack is understanding which is which. Which skills are important and which ones are flashy.

Poor people are poor because of their mindset. I see it every time I work with someone outside of my “natural” scope. Here’s an example. I had a crazy idea for a hobby product. One that I believed will get to 7-figures very quickly. My assistant found a local lady who does that kind of hobby (think arts and crafts). We even gave that lady equity in the company. That’s how eager I was to get this going. The lady flaked out at the first sign on difficulty. We found a new lady. Same. A third one. Also flaked out. So I said - you know what? We don’t need a creator. We’ll create it all with AI. To hell with those poor mindset people. Long story short? I’m 90% confident that project will hit 7 figs this year. And the ladies that flaked out? They’re making less than $1,500/mo working their 9 to 5s. Could’ve been making that every day. After the revenue split. Here’s the lesson. You are where you are because of your mindset and nothing else. They all had the skills. They all had the resources (I paid for everything). They all had the idea (mine). They all had the opportunity (me and my experience). Yet they all flaked out. You can’t outsmart your mindset. You are where you are because that’s where you’re supposed to be. And nothing. No-one. No element can pull you out of there unless you do.

I spent thousands of dollars this month on a funnel that didn’t work. On purpose. I wanted to see what I’d do intuitively so I can document it. That way I can help students who get stuck with their funnel not converting. If only my students knew how much time and effort and money goes behind the scenes for them to get a quick “yes or no” answer from me. Seems so easy. Took me years to systemize. Still doing so every day.
