I’ve sold hundreds of thousands of low-ticket products with ads. Tens of millions of dollars in revenue. AMA. Will try to respond and maybe even write a long-form if I get some interesting questions.

@GrammarHippy How do you go about analyzing competitors and then determining what to do from there? I see some people say to copy the same angles they are running and to try to outcompete them on funnel/economics. I see others say to find an underserved avatar/market (purple ocean).

@highertrust Depends on how much you scale. It’s fully your call. You can keep it at a low budget and keep it profitable if that’s the goal. But for me it’s not. The goal is to buy customers who will become clients.

@GrammarHippy At what profit? If break-even or loss, what was profit on upsells?

@TheAIfrican Start with a simple sales page. Exhaust that. Then think about more complex funnels like quizzes. Look at what others in the same industry are running. But imo always start with a simple sales page.

The problem is not a profile with no followers. No testimonials is not a problem either. I’ve sold millions without a single one. The problem is the price tag. $200 is very difficult to convert on cold without a complicated funnel. Go under $100.

@femalenatured The purpose of a low ticket is not to make money. It’s to scale as high as possible at break even or even a loss while disqualifying people who won’t buy the rest of the funnel.

How do you think about pricing products? We all know the saying “if you’re competing on price it’s a race to the bottom” but every offer has a price ceiling (depending on the niche). So what’s your first principles strategy? Do you look at other offerings in your niche? How do you know if you’re leaving money on the table? Is that even something you consider?
