@LosTobiadores no and it’s not crazy to say that. nmcu had an aesthetic and an vibe that i was hoping would only get better with the possibility of a reboot. i fear… disney ruined it. the whole show looks disgustingly uninspired and only is ‘edgy’ w the new gore they can do w M rating ..

@mothparfait it's also interesting how this movie is set up like a white savior narrative with the twist being that dan is more fucked up than anyone else so he can't even save himself, let alone drey. it's why his confrontation with frankie is so good

i think dan dunne is such an interesting character to talk about rn esp bc of the overwhelming purity culture that surrounds teaching as a profession. he has issues and imperfections and it’s nice to see teachers portrayed as full ppl… i have a lot to say ab this
