This medication should be administered under the care of a health care professional. You all were furious when a woman in Georgia drove to NC to get it and then died from an incomplete abortion. Women should be required to follow the protocols for the medicine including follow up ultrasounds to check that everything is out of the uterus. That is nigh on impossible when it a mail order transaction.

This is a clear attack on women and their access to reproductive care. As long as I’m Governor, I’ll always protect a woman’s right to make choices about her own body — that includes her right to choose a medication abortion. I’ll be taking action to fight back against this incredibly dangerous ruling.

@newsobserver Oh, it was disruptive alright. It also *taught* a lot of parents about their child’s teacher and his/her priorities. Finally, it shattered the parent/teacher relationship. Good luck rebuilding that trust. Dancing for communism is a terrible look in the United States.
