The True Ownership Story in the World of Digital Assets Today, we think we own digital assets; however, in most cases, these assets are not physically in our possession. In reality, our assets are stored on centralized servers, and our keys and passwords are controlled by others. We are merely authorized users, not true owners. Access is temporary, not ownership. We challenged this injustice. Because in the digital age, true ownership should not remain a mere phrase. It must be a tangible right. We asked ourselves a fundamental question. “How can true ownership be made possible? How can we truly control our assets?” This question sparked a vision in two passionate developers, @murathanjee and @alperen_bekci What began as just an idea turned into a concrete product through technology: a mobile wallet application based on Account Abstraction. We took our first major step by winning at @teknofest in October 2024. This was not just a competition victory. It was opening the doors to the future. Following that, in November 2024, we were accepted into the incubation program at @btmistanbul. But this was only the beginning. The first version of the product came to life as a functional application reaching end users. Yet, our vision was much greater. We wanted to transform this experience into a powerful, scalable infrastructure that anyone could access and build their own solutions upon. With valuable guidance from @Trioblockchain and @tahsinizm42 , Trilema evolved beyond an application. It became a programmable, scalable Wallet-as-a-Service platform that developers can integrate securely. We rebuilt our architecture from the ground up. We created a more secure, resilient, and free infrastructure. With feedback from @Tubitak and cryptography experts across Turkey, our path became clearer. In February 2025, we secured a place at @itucekirdek. The support from prestigious incubation programs like @btmistanbul and @itucekirdek helped us mature both our business model and technical infrastructure. At every step, we worked toward building a stronger, more sustainable future. We faced challenges, architectural revisions, and long days, yet we never gave up. Because we know: True ownership means the user is the sole and absolute owner of their assets. No central entity should ever claim this right. Today, we are building the vision of digital ownership together. This is not just a technology story. It is a journey where digital assets are returned to their rightful owners.
