The "Africa Rising" narrative has become a dangerous mask for systemic rot in Africa. For too long, we have been told to market the continent as a land of milk and honey to attract investors and tourists, but this toxic positivity is a direct disservice to the 1.4 billion people living the reality. When we pretend everything is normal, we are gaslighting our own citizens who navigate inflation, crumbling infrastructure, and state-sponsored insecurity every day. This silence doesn't build the continent, it shields the regimes and politicians who profit from the status quo. They use our collective patriotism as a silencer to avoid accountability. This generation is not the one to lie to the world. True pan-Africanism isn't about PR, it's about radical transparency. We must bare our problems in the open, not to shame the continent, but to engineer actual solutions. You cannot fix a house while pretending the foundation isn't cracking. Transparency is the ultimate act of revolution. We need to stop prioritizing looking good over being good. Baring the truth is the only way to break the shield holding back African development.

The world was built by religious societies, from the Christian foundations of America and the UK to the diverse traditions of China, Asia, and the modern Middle East. It has always been people of faith developing and modernizing the world. Western society has been the heartbeat of modern civilization, forging empires that provided the global blueprint for healthcare and education. From the founding of the first universities to the engineering systems that power our world today, their golden generation of inventors established the infrastructure of the modern age. Even the judiciary and legislative frameworks used by most nations find their roots in this heritage. It is entirely possible to embrace atheism and secular thought without discrediting the religious foundations of this history, common sense should not be sacrificed to rewrite the past.

Black people fought to end slavery in every colony by making it unprofitable. After slavery, the British established apartheid states in several colonies to further oppress Black people. Not a single African nation has legal chattel slavery. Stop making things up.

Britain literally did end the Transatlantic slave trade. However, Arabs and Africans still practice slavery to this day.

This is what Idi Amin once said about Israeli occupation in Uganda; "I had to chase away Israelis from Uganda because I found out that they were not trustworthy people, Israelis are criminal and wanted to make Uganda bankrupt. Palestine house them as refugees but later turn the country into their own state using weapons from western countries."

The Pan-Africanist movement is becoming increasingly emotional and decreasingly logical. Hating the very systems that keep the world intact, the last lifelines preventing society from going fully rogue, isn't progressive, it's a recipe for chaos. It is time to stop unnecessarily romanticizing failed stunts and start applying logic. We need a movement built on reality, not just raw emotion and misplaced resentment. It's good to love Africa and support Africa without throwing away common sense.

People are laughing at this.. but the same holds for South Sudan and the SPLA.. there's a bedrock of support for Israel that will never be taken away. Israel 🇮🇱 had their back from the 1960's. The Pan-Africanist left can make all the noise they want, but the bloc of 🇸🇸🇪🇹🇰🇪🇺🇬🇷🇼 + Somaliland will remain resolutely pro-Israel into the future. This support extends beyond political and into the martial ranks.

While the rest of Africa blames the CIA, imperialism, colonization, and sanctions, Egypt continues to build its country. You either find excuses and dodge accountability, or you put in the work. Victimhood is a comfortable cage, but it builds no bridges and paves no roads. If a nation's primary export is a list of historical grievances, it will remain a beggar at the table of the very powers it claims to despise.

The UK spent £20 million in 1833 on freeing slaves and did not finish paying off this debt until 2015. We also spent about £40 million freeing slaves from slave ships. £20 million plus £40 is £60 million or in today’s terms £8.9 billion. No reparations are needed from the UK.

Reparations are a stimulus package for the elite, fueled by the manufactured anger of the people. Real healing isn't found in a UN speech or a check, it's found in accountability and innovation. We cannot build a modern Africa while looking in the rearview mirror. Anyone using 1826 to excuse the failures of 2026 is selling a scam. It's time to move on and build.
