Also when people ask for advice about having a music career I tell them get a job. They look at me confused. Listen your first priority when it comes to art is to make great art that you love, you aren’t supposed to think of the money first. Having a job allows you to do that.

@mvsgrave @PjSomervelle People focus on the success bit of the story so much they miss the point sometimes. What Raye did was deserving of respect whether she ended up having a hit album or not for example.

Post award show you can isolate any artist to make a point that can inspire others but remember every commercial success is an anomaly.
