A federal arts commission just APPROVED the final design for a 24-karat gold commemorative coin featuring President Donald J. Trump to mark America’s 250th birthday.
The vote was unanimous, clearing the way for U.S. Mint production, with President Trump himself signing off on the final design.
Despite longstanding norms against depicting living U.S. Presidents on currency, officials say the Treasury authority has allowed the special issuance to honor the accomplishments of Donald J. Trump.
