Homa Bay governor Gladys Wanga says ODM will negotiate a 50-50 deal in the next government. Wanga reiterates that the party is keen on strengthening its grassroots presence even as it engages in negotiations ahead of the 2027 polls. The governor argues that the party leadership was given a go ahead by delegates to start the negotiations during the recent special delegates’ conference. She assures that ODM still has a majority of the elected leaders loyal to the party and the current leadership, and will remain the same post 2027 elections. Is she planning to be the Deputy President?

My wife and I have voted at the same polling station for the last three elections. We have just confirmed that I am in the voter register but SHE IS NOT!!! Before DEVOLUTION, North Eastern Kenya appeared in the national map because of POOR national examination results. Now it’s appearing on the SAME map because of poor governance, CORRUPTION and terrible POVERTY rates.
