like i know louis left out some minor details yeah but he was there when lestat was burning charlie and making her look, he was there when lestat was calling her a mistake & saying they were happy before her. these scenes happened, love doesn't stop lestat from being cruel

i do believe lestat felt love towards claudia but when/if it's revealed what's also important to remember is that he wasn't able to make claudia feel loved by him and that's where the complexity of their relationship comes from

this part is in extremely poor taste considering lestat was the angel investor in louis' biggest brothel and louis getting a cut of lestat's merch profits is nothing close to the exploitation of sex workers they're both complicit in. if this was meant to be a joke it's a bad one
