So, a man struggling with his sexual identity had a consensual homosexual affair. Is this only a career ender because it was a same sex relationship? I don’t get it tbh. Everyone’s talking like he abused kids or something.

@pennells I guess there was ,back in the day, an acceptance of him being a bit ‘handsy’. But certainly many female researchers & producers would refuse to go anywhere near him if he was appearing on a show due to their past experiences. I’d like to think it couldn’t happen today.

A lot of media people coming out now with personal experiences of inappropriate behaviour by Rolf Harris. If so many in the industry knew about it for so many years, why was nothing said or done? Why did they keep up the charade that he was just a harmless eccentric. #rolfharris

@WarrenNMurray Times changed but what is a crime now was a crime then. If his behaviour was so well known in the industry, why did people enable him?
