@RealCynicalFox He’s obviously wrong. But at a deeper level, we have a problem with a lot of people in the West believing that wars could - and should - be fought with as little violence as possible. That is simply wrong - and it’s a thinking that has probably prolonged wars unnecessarily

I’m not a Navy guy, so someone may have to help me here. When did attacking from ambush and destroying the enemy while incurring minimal risk to our own personnel become a suboptimal choice?

The people cheering the submarine attack on the IRIS Dena seem to forget that the U.S. Navy has surface vessels that could have captured the ship, and held the crew (or allowed them to defect). But apparently, it was important to prove that the Navy can still torpedo a frigate.

Trump had assumed the Iranian military would instantly lay down its arms and the entire country would gratefully award him a Nobel Peace Prize. He started a global war with no backup plan. That's the level of delusion and stupidity

800 Patriot missiles were used for air defense in just 3 days in the Middle East. Ukraine received 600 in 4 years of full-scale war.
Russia, Iran and North Korea form a new Axis of Evil. Ukraine was the first to confront this Axis. We continue to fight, but we need support.
The free world must stop managing this threat — and start defeating it.
