Bro, let’s stop pretending. Muslims make up about 25% of the entire world’s population — over 2 billion people across 50+ countries. Japanese people? About 1.4% of the world. One single country. Shinto exists only in Japan. So when people say “Japan should prioritize minorities and be more accommodating to Islam,” who exactly are we talking about? The global majority is coming to one of the world’s smallest ethnic and religious groups and demanding that Japan change its culture, food, and traditions for them. That’s not “protecting minorities.” That’s the majority trying to colonize a tiny minority. Japan has every right to protect its own people and culture first. If Muslims want to live under Islamic rules, they already have dozens of countries where they can do that. They don’t need to come to Japan and turn it into another one.

TEXAS- I’m outside of the Collin county courthouse for day 3 of Karmelo Anthony’s trial where protesters are chanting “self-defense is not a crime” I walked up to ask if any of them wanted to interview and was immediately intimidated and told to leave.

Karmelo Anthony’s attorney Mike Howard (pictured below) keeps repeating to potential jurors that under Texas law, it’s not illegal to have a knife under five and a half inches in a public place. Anthony was armed with a knife the day he killed Austin Metcalf at a high school track meet. HOWEVER, Karmelo Anthony was not in a public place. The fatal stabbing happened on Frisco ISD property. School-sponsored events are classified as prohibited places for weapons, not public spaces.

First, you’ll still be driving a car built by a company run like a group chat with stock options. Every “upgrade” feels like a software update you didn’t ask for, and somehow the car has fewer normal buttons than a microwave from 1997. Full Self-Driving? Cool name. Except you still have to supervise it like a toddler holding scissors. Nothing says “future of transportation” like paying thousands of dollars to beta test anxiety. Then there’s the interior. Minimalist? Sure. But there’s a fine line between “clean design” and “where the hell did all the controls go?” Sometimes I don’t want to dig through a touchscreen menu just to open a glovebox or adjust something basic. Revolutionary stuff. No physical key, because apparently your phone needs one more job. Great until your phone dies, glitches, updates, overheats, or decides today is the day it no longer believes in Bluetooth. And the door handles. Why are we reinventing door handles?
