The LA Clippers are being described around the league as a team that could trade down from the No. 5 spot for multiple future assets, per @JakeLFischer. "At least one team will call the Clippers with interest in moving up."

@tim_altig @APH00PS @Luigi__457 @JakeLFischer In 2031 and 2032 their players are going to be old or gone. Even a lottery team now will have the best odds at 1st overall, all it takes is one year

@AlexTorresYNA @APH00PS @Luigi__457 @JakeLFischer Ultimately, that’s how I feel about it. My only thing is that we are sitting on a treasure trove of draft picks and if we’re convinced that Acuff is that guy, it might be worth it. But yea I’m cool with Mikel if Acuff goes and vice versa. Those picks are legit #1 overall shots

@APH00PS @Luigi__457 @JakeLFischer Fair value tbh but with the new lottery system those are genuinely elite assets in my eyes. I would consider it but I feel like Marks won’t pull the trigger on that. Do you think you guys will take Acuff, Wagler, or Mikel if you had to guess based on what you’re hearing?

@Luigi__457 @JakeLFischer Yeah probably just one pick from either Denver (2032) or New York (2031) probably gets the job done

The Warriors will likely shop the No. 11 overall pick in trade talks for an immediate impact player that can help maximize the remaining years of the Steph Curry era. Golden State remains in win-now mode after signing Steve Kerr to a new two-year deal.

As of May 12, who do you want for the Nets if they stick at 6? Tell me why in the comments.

Absolutely the most cursed franchise in the league
Brett Siegel@BrettSiegelNBA

I was watching the 2026 NBA Draft Lottery again and I discovered that the No. 1 pick was almost in the hands of the Brooklyn Nets. The 4-2 first two digit combination for the No. 1 pick essentially made it a 50-50 chance for BKN and WAS. #1 was next, but #12 right behind. If the number had been #12 instead of #1 for that third ball being selected, the Nets would’ve had a 91% chance at the No. 1 pick with 10 of the 11 remaining combinations, compared to the Wizards having just one combination at 9%. Once #1 became the third number, the Wizards instantly won the lottery, regardless of what the final number (13) was. A split second took the Nets from being in the driver’s seat for the No. 1 pick to being out of the top four and selecting No. 6 overall. Brutal.

@BillyReinhardt This is insanely good I might even want us to consider him at 6. I do still want a PG tho Acuff and Mikel’s measurements were good today.

@RunMyCoins @SleeperNets @BrettSiegelNBA If it was coop or Wemby we would offer everything we have lol The top 4 are a tier above the rest of the class and we have a ton of picks. It’s not crazy to give up some mid future picks to move up tbh

“Two teams are expected to hold trade talks with the Wizards about the No. 1 pick: the Jazz & Nets.” Per @BrettSiegelNBA Would you rather: A. Trade for the #1 overall pick and select AJ Dybantsa B. Package the #6 overall pick and future assets for Giannis (Bucks have made him available as of today.) C. Keep the #6 overall pick

Louisville's Mikel Brown measured 6'3.5 barefoot and 190 pounds at the NBA Draft Combine, with a 6'7.5 wingspan and 8'9.5 (*) standing reach. Strong numbers across the board. Brown has grown four inches and added 36 pounds over the past three years, including a half inch and 8 pounds this season. *likely typo

Arkansas' Darius Acuff measured 6'2 barefoot and 186 pounds at the NBA Draft Combine, with a 6'7 wingspan and 8'2.5 standing reach. In line with past measurements. Not the biggest or longest guard around, but certainly not any kind of deal-breaker.
