I tried out Cloudflare's AI assistant in the dashboard today and it's pretty neat I'm never super confident with DNS changes even though I've done this one loads of times, so I thought I'd double check with the assistant and it was spot on

Thinking of making up some agent boxes. Mine is a raspberry pi in my living room and it's got to a scary level of good I wanna share
stuff it does for me:
- screenshots the surf cams
- predicts paragliding/kiting opportunities
- tracks food macros
- pings me to drink / walk around
- migrated my old uni dropbox to R2

Votei antecipadamente no Cotrim.
Comecei com 3 candidatos equidistantes para mim:
- Seguro, que fez frente ao Sócrates, não se mete em negociatas, que eu saiba pelo menos, e que seria um presidente de respeito e de continuidade. É o mais próximo que estive em votar em alguém da área do PS em muito tempo, pelo seu crédito. Não é um espalha brasas como o PNS, que ainda é muito imaturo (veremos pra frente).
- Cotrim, porque eu acredito muito a sério na liberdade, e na filosofia liberal como caminho para navegar um mundo cada vez mais complexo, cheio de ratoeiras e alçapões. (Insistem um bocado demais nos impostos IMO). Dos liberais, e fora o CGP, o Cotrim tem sido um exemplo de comunicação e clareza a falar sobre esses tópicos, coisa que acho importante num PR.
- Marques Mendes, porque é um político experiente, e segue na linha de comentador do Marcelo mas numa onda um bocado mais calma, e tem o bónus de usar melhores gráficos para explicar o que se passa no espaço de comentário. Mostra que é inteligente e que usa ferramentas e serviços/ pessoas modernas.
- o Almirante estava nos meus possíveis originais, mas é pouco articulado e não me parece olhar bem para a frente.
Nenhum é perfeito. Idealmente para mim o PR seria um tipo com ideias claras e convictas MAS com capacidade de unir através do discurso, alguém que faça super uso de dados mas que saiba o caminho, e seja prático.
Paradoxalmente, o Cotrim parece o mais parlamentar de todos (o mais político), o Mendes parece o mais prático, e o Seguro parece o mais “figura de estado”.
No final, escolhi por quem representa aquilo que eu mais quero para Portugal: desburocratizar. O Cotrim parece ter mais energia e estar menos comprometido com o status quo do que os outros dois.
Qualquer um dos três me parece um PR aceitável.
(Nota: os casos de influência de negócios / política do MM são um problema, que me reduz a opinião dele, mas não o desqualificam a 100%..)

My pet theory is that say in PT folks tend to work more hours than in DE. However they work in less valuable things. So richer European countries have a higher degree of industrialization while poorer countries overly index on things like tourism and what not.

It’s amazing how many people push this idea of the “hard working” US vs. lazy European. It’s not at all about putting in more hours. Many EU countries, like Poland, Greece, Portugal, Romania, Hungary have tougher average worked hours per year than the US. Anecdotally, I see this in multinational companies (McKinsey), in Tech, in VC, in industries. Data says the same. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_c… Some countries work less hours on average, France, Denmark, Germany. What Europe lacks is a more dynamic economy, with less bureaucracy at the personal, country and European levels, inc a more united market, more investment in productivity in capital and human factors, and less fear of change. Not related to work life balance.
