BREAKING Conservatives passed a motion to obtain the secret agreement between foreign drugmaker Grifols and Canadian Blood Services. According to reports, Grifols has been using blood plasma donated by Canadians to sell products overseas. Health Canada has never even seen the agreement. Two people just died at Grifols facilities in Manitoba and the Health Minister has still not met with the company. When Grifols testified at health committee, the company refused to hand over the agreement, so we passed a motion to get it. There's another layer to this story. Brookfield Asset Management has made multiple attempts to purchase Grifols over the past two years, including a multi-BILLION dollar bid. He promised we'd be first. So why now is it the worst?

Why are gas prices in Canada so much higher than in the United States? We both face the same global circumstances. And Canada has an abundant supply. Liberal taxes on gas make it more expensive to buy. Liberal anti-development laws make it expensive to supply. Mark Carney's Liberals are responsible for the more expensive gas at home.

For the first time in over 50 years, humanity is heading back to the moon. Among the crew is @Astro_Jeremy, who will become the first Canadian to travel to lunar orbit. 🐾 A true hero on four paws. In a frightening smash and grab at the Oshawa Centre, suspects used bear spray and tried to flee, putting innocent shoppers at risk. In that moment, two-year-old @DRPS_K9 Mack stepped up to help apprehend those responsible. Because of Mack’s actions and the incredible work of @DRPS, multiple suspects were arrested and our community is safer. So grateful for this brave K-9 and every DRPS officer that shows courage, heart, and dedication to protecting our community each and every day.

Update from Maya's father: Yesterday was a big day for us. We transitioned out of the ICU into a more recovery and rehab-focused unit, and it’s now been 26 hours since Maya’s EVD was removed for the second time. So far, everything is looking positive. She doesn’t seem to be in as much pain, and we’re starting to see a little more energy and color come back. She’s still not a fan of the boot for the pressure sore on her heel doing her best to kick it off whenever she can but her movements are becoming much more intentional. Our time in the PICU, for lack of a better word, has been a whirlwind filled with both highs and lows for Maya, but slowly we're making some more progress. And then came a moment today that completely overwhelmed me. OT and Physio came in, and with their help, Maya was able to sit up on the edge of the bed. This was huge for two reasons. First, she was using her own muscles to help support herself (with assistance), and second… I was finally able to wrap my arms around my daughter. Really wrap my arms around her and hold her tight. I can’t even begin to put into words what that hug felt like. All I wanted in that moment was to lift her up, hold her close, and never let go. We’re getting there, Dads little Maya Bear 🐻 I love you so much ❤️

It was great to run into the Aggies from Guelph University with @PierrePoilievre They were touring Peterborough County and Indian River Cattle Company.

It’s frankly embarrassing, and an indictment of those that lead us, that gas prices in Canada have spiked to over $2 per litre because of a conflict on the other side of the world. We have, right here in Canada, the fourth largest oil reserves on the planet. Pipelines should have been built 10 years ago. Refineries should have been built 10 years ago. We should have an energy policy that puts Canada, and Canadians, first. This is ridiculous.

I believe deeply in the promise of a prosperous Canada, not just for today, but for the next generation. Achieving that requires disciplined fiscal leadership and serious principled governance. At a time when domestic policies are threatening our unity, Canadians deserve leadership that delivers real results.
