i used to hate marketing naively, i thought marketing is just advertising it is not but i am glad i never took a marketing class i am glad i never learned "the rules" tbh ill probably never read any marketing books.. save maybe a Seth Godin book cuz what he says interests me that might be naive too but idc its cliche but theres no doubt in my mind that the best way to learn marketing is to do it for your own thing i can say or do whatever i want so i have unlimited latitude to figure it out i can create pleaseadvise.ai or freightgong.com or i can start selling hats that say please advise on them or i can post outrageous memes on linkedin or i can start @LOSTFR8_ carrier of the week on a whim now should everyone try to do what i am doing? probably not, ppl gotta develop techniques that are authentically them u can tell when stuff isnt authentic freight REEKS of the stuff that made me hate marketing this tweet is marketing
