@ChrisErrington1 Too much moaning here. Last 6 seasons = 2 promotions (1 a points record), 2 in the Championship, 1 relegatIion, a top ten finish in League 1 (maybe even playoffs) this season. Victories over Liverpool etc. As a fan of 55 years, I've seen few better patches. Early noughties maybe.

The number of voices in and out of football currently saying the PL is broken grows weekly. Elite football has totally lost its way. It's being steered by people who NEED to be invested in every busted flush from VAR to countless Champions League matches. Everyone can see this

@prodnose It's funny, i remember it as a time when the sexism of soul and disco "I'm a woman's man, no time to talk", was replaced by something much more interesting: "oh bondage, up yours", "one way or another", "sing if you're glad to be gay", "ever fallen in love?", "typical girls" etc.

1976. 50 years ago, Punk arrived to apparently rescue us all from boredom. Here is a small selection of the tunes in the charts at the time. Fact is, maybe punks were the boring ones, wanting to kill disco fun with heavy blokey rock.
