If you haven't been recruited, contact coaches!! Coaches are not traveling as much the way the state of world is now. Waiting for a coach to see you, you'll be waiting a long damn time and there's no reason for it! Get on social media, send an email, and reach out!!

@DreAllDay 2/2. This isn’t a one off. A one off is a moment. We’ve seen this for YEARS, and multiple times with female coaches. This..is a pattern. Perhaps go back to the Pat Summit days. She was 1000% right about him. Please don’t dismiss this as just a moment. It’s who he is!

Geno Auriemma’s exchange with Dawn Staley is being framed as an identity story. It isn’t. Frustration is universal — it doesn’t belong to any race or gender. This was a frustrated coach coming off a loss, with multiple issues boiling over in a public moment. The identities involved make for a compelling narrative. They don’t make it the cause.

@DreAllDay 1/2. Not true. We all can understand frustration. What we don’t understand is the lack of accountability, lying, then doubling down on the lie. Coaching kids is a wild profession for someone to not exercise the same behaviors being taught. But he also acts this way with women.

Not defending Geno by any stretch but ESPN showed the scorer’s table video of him waiting on Dawn after the player intros, as is custom. That’s what he’s referring to, where he stood there for nothing (getting his ego hurt, probably). Still, c’mon Geno. Ridiculous.

Geno Auriemma is the textbook example of white male fragility. It's all fine when everything works in their favor, but the minute they're faced with adversity, they resorts to throwing temper tantrums. Even more, being bested by a black woman sends them into a frenzied state.

Y’all too focus on Geno lash out and not what’s been brewing since 2022. I’m not surprised of anything that happened tonight between Geno and Dawn. They don’t like each other like Geno and Pat or Geno and Muffet. We can cut the think pieces 🤷🏽‍♀️
