Big up Chiltern Railways. Sat on the floor on the first (boiling hot) train as only two carriages were running. I waited half an hour for a connecting train and they changed the platform number without announcing it, so now I am waiting for another train which will take me a few stops more and then change again. I think I preferred it when they were on strike. What a kerfuffle. 🤣

@RevRichardColes I still have my grandfathers 'beer' glass and my parents antler handled carving set. I don't use either, they are at the back of the sideboard but i know they are there and are the keys to memories of happy childhood days.
