It makes no sense to add some sort of barrier to entry for a mode where people can play more casually, even if it upsets the players who play it most. I'm not saying it's cool that some people hop into the mode and slam lower skilled players, but at the end of the day, the mode isn't casual because the players that are in it. The mode is "casual," because there's 120+ bots. The hard truth here is that there's only 6 other teams in the match that you're having to actively fight against - and that's if they're even sweaty. You're likely going to run into 3-4 teams that are actually good... or even 2-4 real teams to begin with. While it sucks that they might be trying to get clips or slam players for free, if you were going to lose the game because you're bad, losing it to someone good isn't going to be a big difference. At the end of the day, it's a participation trophy mode. No matter who joins it's a mode meant to make players feel better about themselves. I don't see anything wrong with that, but taking that away from people who are better than you seems to defeat the purpose. I realize people can only think about themselves, but a little perspective to add to this is that good players playing casually will always be better than bad players trying their hardest. Putting a "cap" on any sort of metric to keep specific players out is unfair regardless of how you look at it. Personally, unless there's a reason that I need a lot of XP, I'm not going to be on the mode. But I don't think it makes sense to keep people out of it because they're good at a fucking video game.
