12 years on from Vettel winning in a Toro Rosso in what was my favourite sporting moment of all time and made me fall in love with the sport, Pierre Gasly does it for the same team, at the same track, from fucking nowhere I'm not sure it tops '08, but it's damn close #ItalianGP

The Denmark detail is the one that should stop people cold. NATO allies had to genuinely war-game shooting down American planes. Some of their military leaders still haven't fully processed having run that exercise. The most popular app in the country identified American products to avoid buying. And now Trump is demanding - his word - those same allies solve the Strait of Hormuz problem his war created. NATO invoked Article 5 once. For us. Their soldiers died in Afghanistan. He told reporters they stayed "a little back." Their governments remember that. They've drawn the conclusions and they aren't reversible.

@someRobguyidk @micyoung75 Nope. The IRGC is the reason they are closed. The IRGC simply has to not attack any ships and they will be open. If you don't like what the IRGC is doing, you should go and stop them. Don't expect US to do that on your behalf while you sit around criticizing US.

@micyoung75 His war didn't create the problem. The IRGC response to his war created the problem. To blame him is to assume that it is the US job to bear all costs associated with providing free sea lanes of commerce without any contribution from other countries that benefit.

@LAT3BRAKING @F1Clapped @ApexToAsphaltIE They had a car with 40 more horsepower than any other (apart from the like, 5 races in 18/19) from 2014 until 2021. If you can't put more than 5 wins in a row in that time when your teammate (who retired after 3 years of it) did 7, you're not winning 22/22 ever.

@LAT3BRAKING @F1Clapped @ApexToAsphaltIE Mclaren had the fastest car in 2012, too. Button has come out and said as much. He had a teammate far out of his depth in 2017-2020 and quite arguably the most dominant F1 car of all time in that period and still never won more than 5 in a row.

@someRobguyidk @SteadyHearn @ffsmo__ A bit misleading. At italy, he caught bottas and the leaders by 10 seconds, despite overtaking 10 cars in 24 laps. Bottas could only clear 2 saubers in the dirty air. At russia, after getting the penalty hamilton knew his race was over - his pace isnt representative.

@Kh1sq_ @SteadyHearn @ffsmo__ I mean for Italy yeah fair enough, but he also couldn't pass the traffic. In Russia he lost enough time to Bottas that he would've lost the race regardless of the penalty. He wouldn't even have finished 2nd on raw pace that day.
