@TheJobfather__ Yep. Anakin is basically Paul, and Palpatine is heavily inspired by Leto II Even the "sand planet" setting was heavily borrowed from.

@CoffeeBlackMD Between losing mobility and keeping your sanity vs losing your sanity but being physically active... One of them is hugely difficult for your family and caretakers The other one is mostly difficult for you... :(

@casey_Payne23 The second game, they leaned on the wrong things. I was a huge fan of Zero Dawn, finished the game, and spent a lot of hours in it. I could not do the same in Forbidden West. It was designed more for "influencers" and "social media" than actual gamers.

@alanthefisher Again CHSR has nothing to do with rail. They don't lay tracks. They take public money, and make some insiders rich. And occasionally do photo ops. They don't even have a full plan of the route after the official project completion date (2020) already passed.

@alanthefisher It is just a massive graft wrapped in a nice thing people actually want. This photo is a stark reminder of that. The bridge to literal nowhere is extremely expensive compared to the tracks. So they just built lots of them, made crony contractors rich. But laid zero tracks.

there are so many astroturfed conservatives against CAHSR because the second that there is a working train between 2 cities in the US that can hit 200mph it is fundamentally over for the argument of "that doesn't work here" The oil lobby will do everything possible to stop that

just learned there are actual living humans who believe the california high speed rail project will ever be completed LMFAOOO

@HSVSphere It is still against First Amendment, and the rights Americans hold dear. Compelled speech, especially by governments is illegal, and it is literally a pillar of fascism.

@Itsfoss They are not even "begrudgingly" complying with the path to censorship. They are just silently letting it happen. I don't know what to say. It is quite a letdown of the principles.

I find it frustrating that none of these "guardians" of Linux and open source have reacted to the OS-level age verification law: - Linux Foundation - Open Source Initiative - Free Software Foundation - Software Freedom Conservancy

Moderators of the r/Linux subreddit are now censoring posts which talk about Age Verification. Not only are posts being removed, but I’ve heard from multiple Reddit users who have been banned from r/Linux for expressing opposition to Age Verification.

@PigeonGoGaming Don't they have some cross funding in this project from Amazon? Maybe they could help. I'm really sad though. They were also supposed to help with that ill fated Perfect Dark reboot...

I have zero trust in a "Sony" launcher. I was a Funimation customer, and they deleted my "purchases" after taking it over. And it is not the first time they rug pulled paying customers. So, there is no guarantee they won't say "we are shutting down PC store with your content in it" (TBF, Microsoft did a similar thing with "Games for Windows" store)

Latest rumors. - Sony will sell their PC games on their own store. - Some think Wolverine may release day 1 on PC, but will require a Sony launcher and PSN account. ---> This way they can avoid PC Games on Helix. A PSN launcher have been rumored for years already...

"I'd be okay if they don't touch Splinter Cell studio" (Sarcasm of course Red Storm also worked on SC, but it is now only mentioned as "other games") WTF Ubi... How can you squander such massive franchises?

@MrStarfield22 This was a low hanging fruit, and I don't know why they did not fix it earlier. Legitimately, a simple update to their RNG to make sure we don't see civilian outposts on the moon, or see the same exact one we saw 5 minutes ago would be a massive improvement.

Bethesda confirmed theyve addressed one of the biggest critiques of Starfield - repetitive POIs Theyve added new POIs and adjusted the rates of locations appearing - which should theoretically reduce the repetition. If effective, it sure feels more like a 2.0 than ever

@plasmarob The insurance is just a symptom. Middle class was duped into thinking homes are "investments". And they dumped all their life savings like a champ. Cheap house = nobody cares what happens All your net wealth buried = irrationally panic mode
