St. Louis CITY SC have conceded 8 goals in 2026, tied for 9th fewest in #MLS -- while facing the hardest schedule in MLS and having below-Bürki-average goalkeeping thus far. FC Dallas have scored 11 goals in their last 3 matches and are tied for 2nd most goals in 2026 (14). Will #AllForCITY be able to shut down Petar "The Moose" Musa and Logan Farrington? Will they be able to generate threatening goal scoring chances? Will Tomáš Ostrák, Fallou Fall, or Tomas Totland play a role in the fixture? What about McSorley? Joyner? Is the Córdova experiment over? Yoann Damet is now in a situation with a lot of competition for playing time and a possible need for change in the attacking group. His commitment to lineup consistency will be tested. Here's my XI for this matchup. Bürki Orozco-Baumgartl-Fallou Totland-Edelman-Durkin-Wallem Ostrák-Hartel Becher The odds of Damet making three changes from last week are certainly not high given his decisions thus far, but to beat Dallas requires: - Size and progressive passers on the back line to handle the FCD attackers in defense and eliminate them when in possesion. - Proper utilization of the wide channels (which we haven't really seen yet). Wallem on the left to invert while Hartel gets a bit wider with Totland on the right could be the solution. - Someone quick on the ball between the lines: enter Ostrák Another option is to plug Polvara in at his natural CDM over Edelman to bring even more size and physicality into Musa's kitchen.
