Been to Wembley a few times now, never had any issue with rival fans, but the abuse walking back to the car park from Southampton fans last night was crazy bad. They even abused a 9 year old walking in front of us. It wasn't just 1 either, the worst I've known it. Shocking fans

@superace77 I’m a Saints fan. Went with my lad and a City fan with his lad offered to take a photo of us both after the game. Lovely gesture. Said we were a good side. Shook his hand and wished City well in the final. Really nice guys. Behaviour you saw sounds dreadful. So sorry to hear that

had a lot of replys to my comments about fans after yesterday's game, been going to football for 40 years and plenty away, the abuse I saw yesterday to women and children was above most of what I've seen before, hence my tweet. Not 1 single issue with Arsenal after the cup final

@fatboyscum Fair enough and yes im certain most of you are good people, just never seen constant abuse while walking back to the car, found it very strange considering were not close rivals.

@superace77 Few knobheads don’t represent the majority of normal fans, most City fans I’ve ever interacted with have been totally sound as well. Not sure what all the aggro was about though, was a good day out so not sure why some of ours felt the need to spoil it at the end.

@tom7lawrence As I said wasn't 1 or 2, it was lots of them, constant abuse (not banter) all the way back to the car park. I walked through Newcastle after our FA cup game, not 1 single issue with their fans. It was pathetic.

@superace77 Yeah obviously but just as pathetic as you judging a whole fan base based on an interaction with 1 or 2 Saints fans that probably had been drinking all day.

@superace77 Sadly as a saints fan I thought it was a tad bit embarrassing from some of us, I get a bit of banter about the low city fan turn out inside the ground us one thing but walking back to the tube some of it seemed overly harsh and in pockets just abusive

@superace77 I've seen way worse. Most of them ok. Some of them giving it the big'un but definitely a loud minority. I've seen much more worse from Liverpool, United, Chelsea and even bloody Watford.

@superace77 I saw a group city fans abusing a family with a disabled child. Tipped him out of his chair and stole his sweets. Just because the lad called him a tourist. Scum the lot of them l much prefer united.
