Dan Walker is facing an employment tribunal accused of misogyny, sexism and bullying by his former Channel 5 News co-anchor Claudia-Liza Vanderpuije. The black female presenter claims he targeted her during their year working together from April 2022; she left the channel in 2023. Vanderpuije sought a settlement up to £13m, later reduced to £4m, both rejected. An internal ITN probe in April 2024 fully exonerated Walker, finding no evidence of any wrongdoing.
