Except this isn't the crusades. It isn't retaking Jerusalem, it's serving and keeping jews safe in it. We aren't purging them from our lands and bringing the fight to them. It's all posturing, Trump can't even handle a judge raping everything her tries to do (not that he's actually fighting any of them).
We aren't attacking Muslims because they're inbred goat fuckers raping our kids en masse, we're attacking them for really no clear reason but the same imaginary nuclear threat that got us into our previous forever war.

The reaction to this from the "online right" has been nothing but pathetic. For 10 years, since I was in HIGHSCHOOL, I have watched and participated in endless posting about "saracens", "bring back the crusades", "retake constantinople" and all sorts of pro-violence rhetoric against muslims and the middle east. Now we have a president (likely bluffing) who is stating he wants to do that and you people blink. How pathetic. None of you people are serious. None of you are the "strong men" that you pretend to be.
