We were a little too hard on this game when it came out?
Diamond and Pearl was great, and honestly, looking at this game now, the art style is pretty cute and polished.
Maybe not as good a remake as ORAS for its price, but respectable... or no?

@TJ_2501 @julian_mcmurray @jui_cyapple Virtual Boy was a shitty console for queers. GameCube got outsold by the PS2 and original XBox. Wii is for queers too. Xbox is the clear winner of the console war. Nintendo got so salty after the Kinect that they decided to rip it off.

Biggest miscalculation next gen will be a developer betting on a $1000 console and overlooking the Switch 2! Most devs won’t but a few will put their stakes in a $1000 PS6/Helix that will flop hard at that price point.

@angelodotsui Well they turned to sequels in Gen 5 and 7. Gen 6 was going to get something but was canceled due to a natural disaster that involved the loss of a handful of Gamefreak employees. Gen 8 and 9 got story dlc which looks like that will be the norm going forward.
