@kitokeboo been reading the docs and overwhelmed. looking for a general "how to get started" and understand main points. your approach would be helpful covering similar. simple coverage of main dock, various panes, factory, mvvm, etc. could see a small series come out of this. 😉😉

@okyrylchuk interesting. thx. also, seems like you should be able to count by object. maybe i'm thinking of this wrong. for example, if you had two items for 'new Person("John", "Doe", "US")' and used persons.CountBy(p => p)... you'd think it would return 2 for that. only returns 1.

.NET 9 introduces the new LINQ method CountBy. It allows for calculating the frequency of a key. This improvement looks nice. What do you think?

@mkristensen the vs team has been doing an awesome job on new features recently. understanding some are not announced publicly yet, but curious to know if there is a particular feature (already announced) that made you pause and say... "okay, that is just cool"?

Yes!! Copy and pasting (incl. dragging and dropping) of files and folders between Visual Studio instances just got checked in. It only worked for a few project types before. Coming soon...

A rainy day in Brooklyn led to a new project. An AR pinout overlay using the Metro M7 board from Adafruit. This was built in SwiftUI and UIViewRepresentable to merge UIKit views. It tracks well if I say so myself!

@ziki_cz sorry of lack of details. Rust coming to VS appears to be a big request and was excited to see support possibly being added. just was curious if there were any tidbits to provide on what to expect and timelines (previews to rtm). thx
