Also he’s quality as a starter in domestic cup/European matches for the most part. They usually give him far too much space and time on the ball and he was averaging a goal + assist every other game. But for the league he has to be a rotation option otherwise he’s toothless.

Who is a player that got thrown under the bus in a major way this season. Konate & Mac Allister deserve significantly more flack for their performances this season. Gakpo was overused in a huge way & frankly did his best, even if it was poor. I can’t say the same for the latter.

It drives me utterly insane that we, a club that now has no fit strikers, didn’t even TRY to play MO SALAH as our striker in the interim to even see if it was an option. Nah, let’s just stick Codeine Cody up top and watch him apologies to his teammates for an hour and a half.

I don’t think Konate is a Liverpool player next season. He’s purposely stalled so that he can impress with France this summer and then use that to get Madrid back to the table imo
