Now that its happening I've only got one thing to say Indykaila & BayernSpace are frauds - What was the point in feeding the whole LFC fanbase the fake Alonso "news" on a weekly basis and inviting even more hate on the current manager & on our season in general. Simply, why lie?

🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Agreement complete for Xabi Alonso to become Chelsea manager. 44yo Spaniard visited London early last week & accepted opportunity; 4yr contract now finalised - announcement imminent. Primary target throughout + wanted #CFC move @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/72724…

Accepted the job THEY thought he wouldn’t accept due to “allegiance” or “Chelsea is a mess” Good, Liverpool won’t be making a move for him anytime in the future and I’m happy about that tbh

I am absolutely not here for the revisionism over Klopp’s era of football and his coaching style. We were all here for the years where we kept coming up against the limitations of Klopp’s philosophy: 1) Great in matches with big spaces but poor when teams didn’t give us space in behind. Season after season we struggled against low blocks. Klopp and Ljinders couldn’t coach our midfield to draw apart teams with the ball to make space for high quality chances when we faced low blocks. So we signed players like Keïta and Thiago to do that with their natural talent but… 2) High intensity meant lots of injuries to players like Keïta and Thiago at the worst moments so we went back to problem (1). All our creativity was basically from Trent. It wasn’t a brand of football that was conducive to consistent success. We had great streaks of huge success, seasons where we almost won quadruples but ultimately we failed in the final stages of the seasons because of the intensity and not being able to break down teams in the biggest stages. We had success but we needed to evolve the squad to be able to play with multiple weapons, not just hard running, intensity and relying on Trent and Salah’s individual brilliance.

Why I can't take guys on this app seriously. Some of these guys clamouring for heavy metal football were the same ones that said last summer that Klopp ran players into the ground and we needed Slot ruthlessness. At least be consistent, if you fck with something, stick with it.

Now I hope Arne Slot doesn't hold back at his next press conference on Friday. Just spill it all out. Salah is a disgrace. Has seized every opportunity to disrespect a man who has stayed respectful to him from beginning to end.

The excessive negativity and told you so’s that everyone comes out with after losses is so wonderful but disappointing to see. Obviously, it’s not as if a win would’ve changed the shape of the discourse as the verdict around the coach has already been decided. As always for me, my opinion is not solely based on outcomes but contextual progress and the tactical development of the team. Considering what has happened this season, for me, Slot stays and we go again next season.

When you are losing, everything you do is wrong. When you are winning, everything you do is right. End of story.

I do not hold it against him because everyone is smarter and wiser in hindsight but Michael Edwards giving Salah that new contract 13 months ago was such a horrendous decision. Again, I don't hold it against him. The pressure was massive
