Absolutely shameful. The Labour Government has no interest in tackling inequality, stopping poverty in this country or stopping a genocide that they're complicit in. Every interest in trying to silence dissent. We will not be silent.
Metropolitan Police@metpoliceuk

523 people were arrested today for showing support for a proscribed organisation. The age of those arrested ranges from 18 to 87. That brings the updates today to a close, we are grateful to all the officers involved for their professionalism.

So ‘Restore Britain’ far right clowns want to scrap public sector translation services. That policy is dangerous NONSENSE. Here are 5 examples why: 1️⃣ Our military would be unable to translate NATO intelligence when it isn’t in English. 2️⃣ A&E doctors would be guessing a tourist’s allergies eg if they were going into anaphylactic shock. 3️⃣ Criminals could walk free because key witnesses, such as visitors who see a major crime, couldn’t have their statements translated. 4️⃣ Intelligence services would be unable to carry out foreign language work. 5️⃣ Border Force would be severely weakened by an inability to conduct in-depth foreign language interviews. Impractical, dangerous discrimination.
Restore Britain@RestoreBritain_

Restore Britain will end all foreign language translation in the public sector, saving hundreds and hundreds of millions. If you live in our country, you speak our language.

Trump threatens to cut off all forms of trade and cooperation with Spain. Spanish Prime Minister immediately travels to China and makes new deals. Trump is a total dipshit. He just keeps taking L after L.

Lib Dem leader, Ed Davey: “This idiotic war prosecuted by Donald Trump & Benjamin Netanyahu - initially supported by Kemi Badenoch & Nigel Farage, let’s not forget - has been a total disaster. Let me give some praise to our PM, he was right to keep us out of this war” #bbclaurak

My son got stabbed on a German subway yesterday Apparently an Afghan man got angry at him for not speaking Arabic He is in the hospital right now, and I have to say the experience has been absolutely wonderful He was seen by a doctor within 40 minutes of arriving The doctors were professional and helped my son right away No one asked for a credit card or insurance details His life was saved completely free of charge In America this would have cost $250,000 and he would be in debt for the rest of his life "Aren't you worried he got stabbed at all?" my wife was crying "Baby, crime exists everywhere but free healthcare does not" I told her My son is recovering well and should be back at his feet within couple months It feels so fantastic to be protected by the EU

Coming to the UK from overseas is a privilege, not a right. Any foreign national with a history of crime and violence is not welcome. If you pose a risk to our country, you will be refused entry or removed.

Wes Streeting says the Green Party has "pie in the sky ideas". Here's two of those ideas: ✅️A fully funded NHS. ✅️Taking Wes Streeting's seat at the next general election. Not "pie in the sky" at all - both achievable and essential. Join.greenparty.org.uk

You idiots that seem intent on bringing Starmer down haven't got a fucking clue. The man just gets on with the job. He's very admirable indeed.

#bbcpm Starmer, Cooper brought together 40 countries 3 days ago to discuss how to tackle the war started by Trump. No daily tweets, just careful negotiations and a joint statement with European countries, EU, Canada and Japan. Now he’s in Saudi meeting troops on the front line

I live in London, and I'm well travelled. London is one of the safest places I've ever been to. It is a beautiful, diverse and vibrant city and there's no 'no go' zone, absolutely none. Every bit of London, be it posh or poor, is remarkably safe by international standards.

We already knew Richard Tice aggressively avoided tax. Now we’re told his company just plain failed to pay tax that was legally due. For someone supposedly in public service he goes to extreme lengths to avoid paying his fair share towards public services thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar…

🚨 NEWS: A Lebanese rescue worker just went on Sky News and said it directly. The area Israel bombed in Beirut had zero Hezbollah presence. Zero. Not a military installation. Not a weapons cache. Not an operational base. A civilian neighborhood. Children. Elderly residents. People with nowhere to go and no part in anyone’s war. Israel has called every strike a counterterrorism operation. This man pulled people from the rubble and said there was nothing military about what was underneath it.

There is no way of knowing how often Parliament votes against what the public actually wants. Until now. houseofthepeople.com tracks every bill going through Parliament. You vote. We compare it to how your MP voted. The gap speaks for itself.
