Update:
The government has increased the pay of Paramedics in NSW so that it is now on par, if not exceeding that of other jurisdictions in australia.
The union’s industrial action has been successful.

A fascinating thing is happening in NSW Australia starting today Yesterday was the annual deadline for paramedics to re-register with AHPRA (the regulator). In an act of protest, the Union has garnered major support and hundreds of paramedics have refused to re-register.
