I like the Nigerian adverb, ‘’kukuma’’. I kukuma know that there is a short form known as ‘’kuku’’. While it is a short form, ‘’kuku’’ cannot always replace ‘’kukuma’’ in all sentences as it gives a slight modification. E.g I will kuku do it- (I will do it but not now) I will kukuma do it- ( Let me just do it now )

@KikelomoSowore "kukuma" is a bye product of "kuku" And the etymology of both can be traced to the Yoruba language Kuku pa mi - Just kill me Ma pa mi - Don't kill me "Kuku" means JUST "Ma" means DON'T Recent social language and pidgin influence created the blend "kukuma", JUST DON'T

"This one ma, I like am" So Kukuma is Yoruba+Hausa blended into pidgin English. Likely came out of NYSC or Military camps
