Alabama State head coach Tony Madlock has resigned after four seasons and will join Penny Hardaway's staff at Memphis, source told @TheFieldOf68.
Madlock is from Memphis and was an assistant with Penny from 2018-21.
Madlock won the SWAC tourney and went to the NCAA tourney this past season. Alabama State finished the year 20-16 overall and 10-6 in the SWAC.

NEWS: Memphis wing Ashton Hardaway is entering the transfer portal, his agency @GSEWorldwide told @LeagueRDY.
The 6-foot-8 wing has spent two seasons of his college career at Memphis and one at Saint Mary’s.
He averaged 5.6PPG, 2.5RPG and 1.4APG this season.
