Let’s remember that Alabama’s Labaron Philon told reporters he was “all-in” on staying in the NBA Draft at the combine a year ago. Then he and his agent realized he wasn’t a lock first rounder, he withdrew just prior to the deadline and then went out and had a terrific season in which he may have worked his way into the lottery come draft night.

Belgium forward Victor Vanderstraeten has committed to NJIT for this upcoming season, source told @TheFieldOf68. Vanderstraeten played in the BNXT League the past two seasons and was previously with the Belgium U-16 and U-18 national team.

Former Santa Clara forward Allen Graves says the only two schools he’s had conversations with are LSU and Duke. He added that Kentucky has reached out to his agents, but Duke and LSU were his top two. Graves said he would prefer to stay in the NBA draft if he’s a first-rounder.

The athletic big man from the Dominican Republic averaged 5.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.3 blocks in 20 minutes during league play. He was runner-up for C-USA Defensive POY.
