The Jilli market airstrike that killed scores of innocent traders is not just tragic, but a devastating failure that must outrage every conscience. While targeting insurgents, innocent Nigerians were once again reduced to collateral damage. How long will citizens remain unsafe both from terrorists and from the very operations meant to protect them? Just a few days ago, the United States deployed over 150 aircraft and spent an estimated $300 million to rescue just one pilot in Iran, even destroying equipment worth over $100 million each to protect a single life. That is the value they place on one citizen. Here at home, we must ask: what is the value of Nigerian lives? This demands urgent review, accountability, and decisive action to prevent a recurrence. My heartfelt condolences go to the bereaved families and affected communities. Nigeria must uphold its duty to protect its citizen. That is the ultimate essence of National Security. -AA #google_vignette" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">dailytrust.com/breaking-over-…

If an igbo president was ruining the country economically the way Tinubu has been doing since he became president, igbos would’ve been the very first set of people to start a serious protest in Nigeria.

By the way, Have you noticed something? The APC never ever markets Tinubu. Because there’s nothing to market. And because he’s a terrible product. So what do they do? They demonise his opponents. They say stupid nonsense like “What will Obi do differently?” “All politicians are the same” among other brainless crap. If a political party can only market its candidate who is a sitting President, by demonising and attacking the opposition, that tells you the President is absolutely useless and he doesn’t deserve to return.

Lol, someone tweeted about the three main presidential contenders yesterday… but somehow, it’s Peter Obi everyone is talking about. We know who is popular. We know who owns the streets. We know who the ruling party does not want on the ballot. Facts are stubborn.

Just so we are clear: Peter Obi openly dared anyone to come forward if they have any evidence that he ever stole money at any point. This is a man who has been governor for 8years, who has served as a leader in the governors forum and who has advised a sitting Nigerian president. There is no prominent living Nigerian politician running for president today who can make the same clam. It is an evil dishonest thing to say or to insinuate that there is no difference between politicians.

This is the last thing I’ll say on tribe and politics this month. This narrative is deeply dishonest and unnecessarily triggering. Hausa voters largely backed Buhari because he's their baba, many Yorubas supported Tinubu, and even then the Yoruba vote was split, with a significant number of Yoruba youths choosing Obi. Igbos also gave a strong majority of their votes to Obi. Ask the average Igbo person on the street why they support Obi and you’ll often hear that he’s their own, their person deserves to lead, same goes for Hausa towards Buhari and that’s completely VALID. The truth is, many Nigerians tend to support candidates from their own tribe, even when it doesn’t directly benefit them. So singling out Yorubas for something that cuts across all groups is unfair! This tendency toward tribal loyalty is widespread and pretending otherwise is hypocritical

The moment you see them type "Tinubu govt is bad but Peter Obi... Blabla... Just know the fatuous is an APC lizard, they first state the obvious, then try to make a point on Tinubu continuation. You'd see more of their low IQ tweets with time, esp the dolts claiming fencists

This bullying you people do to individuals within the party who dare have a different opinion is not a sustainable practice. You're vilifying members within good intention and ascribe them to APC over what? I look forward to Obi winning the election. When policies and issues arise that need to be called out, you will eventually see the harm you’ve enabled and realize you’ve become what you once criticized.

I have been a registered member of the APC since 2014 and over the years, I have served in various capacities, including as a member of committees for the party’s National Convention and the Presidential Campaign Council. Since 2017, I have also voluntarily contributed as part of the party’s strategic media team. It is therefore quite surprising that some individuals, who never even identified with the party until after the 2023 general election, during which I served as deputy chairman of the Social Media and Special Operations Committee of the Presidential Campaign Council, would now question my loyalty to the APC. Hilarious! When I joined the APC in 2014, no one persuaded me to do so. I joined the party out of my personal conviction, because I believed in the party’s ideals and direction. That conviction remains unchanged and it is the reason I have consistently given my best in every role I have been entrusted with. So I do not see or believe any individual has the power to alter that commitment. If my membership of the APC had been tied to any individual, I would have long left the party. I am a committed APC member and I will continue to support the party to the best of my ability. I will campaign for President Tinubu, Gov. Abba Yusuf and any leader I am convinced is genuinely working for the good of the people.
