Introducing: Attached (Legacy) Addresses If you recently created an Account and thought your old balance disappeared: it didn't 🙂 Accounts and legacy Addresses are separate systems, so their balances stay separate too. This separation is intentional and helps keep things secure. Because of that, balances cannot be merged or transferred between legacy Addresses and Accounts. However, we understand that having to continue mining to your legacy Address until payout, only to then start fresh on your Account, is far from ideal. So, with our oldest and most loyal users in mind, we've introduced Attached Addresses. An Attached Address is a legacy Address linked to your Account, allowing you to direct part of your Account hashrate to it and monitor it from your dashboard. It keeps its own separate balance and history, and works as a temporary bridge while you transition to the newer Account balance flow. To attach your Address to your Account, all you need to do is click on the 🙋‍♂️➕ icon on your Address: unmineable.com/address Then, from your Assets dashboard, you can choose how much of your Account hashrate to direct to it. That said, Account balances are still far more flexible: you can accumulate coins, even across up to 5 coins at the same time, without being tied to a single address. And when it's time to get paid, you can choose any payout address, even the same one you were using before. We hope this makes the transition a whole lot easier.
