@RealOrdCatholic @dojphofficial You are wrong here. The church follows the Savior. Joseph Smith died and the church continues on.

1/ It shoukd be offensive to ANY Christian, the @dojphofficial conceded by adding @LDSchurch to a list of “Christian” religions… Mormons may be good people but they are not Christian… Let’s explore why below 👇🧵

@RealOrdCatholic @dojphofficial Time to go to church and partake of the sacrament in remembrance of the Lord's body and blood. How 'bout you? Do you go every week too?

@uptimecontinuum @dojphofficial Yep, but it goes back to the central question which got all this debate going in the first place Is mormonism Christian? The answer to that is NO Joseph smith does not get to redefine God, Christ or the Church You feel strongly about your faith, great…it’s just not Christian

@j_divis You mean things like how it mentions atonement 39 times while the NT mentions it once? Or how it emphasis God's mercy and power of deliverance? Or how it testifies of the goodness of Jesus throughout?

18/ Full-circle: Mormonism may borrow Christian language. It may use Christian symbols. It may speak constantly about Jesus. But Christianity is defined by who God is. And on that question, mormonism and Christianity give fundamentally different answers. @dojphofficial

Joseph Smith did not ask, “Is there a true church on the earth.” He asked, “Which church should he join.” Going into the grove he assumed at least one had to be true. He wanted to find it and join it. What a powerful insight from Truman Madsen.

Did anyone get persuaded by an Evangelical to leave the church this week?

The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is objectively true. It’s so true that everyone’s dead ancestors are all being taught the gospel of Jesus Christ by dead members of the church. Keep that in mind the next time you argue with a Christian. #SaintsOnX

@uptimecontinuum @DontBotherIt65 @MattTestifize You can call it whatever you’d like, but you don’t get to redefine the Trinity…it’s already defined! Just as you can use the name Jesus Christ in your title, it still doesn’t make your religion Christian… At least this guy accidentally conceded mormonism is not Christian!

@uptimecontinuum @RealOrdCatholic @MattTestifize Ahhh. The muslim argument. The church "failed" and we're the ones to restore it. We have a special prophet who gets information after the law & prophets were fulfilled. We have no evidence it failed but we'll restore it back to the church that we admit failed. Brilliant.

@DontBotherIt65 @RealOrdCatholic @MattTestifize Yes, God the Father has a body of flesh and bones. No blood. Yes the Father and the Son are infinite, no limits. They live in eternity, there is no beginning, no end. No mortal can explain God.

@uptimecontinuum @RealOrdCatholic @MattTestifize God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit arent just eternal. Theyre infinite. They have no beginning and they have no limits. Created beings have limits and beginnings. Does the father in mormon theology have a physical, created body? Yes or no?

@DontBotherIt65 @RealOrdCatholic @MattTestifize Yes, some of the early members of the "church" left including the witnesses of the Book of Mormon, but none of them took back or denied their testimony of that book. Think about that. They took their testimonies to the grave.
