@Mike_Zierlein @TheAstrosLocker Yes bc he would trade any and everything for prospects ever lower end and youth talent. 3rd-7th round guys. Then flip them in a year or two for more. It would take 3 seasons but he’d have us rebuilt and reloaded

Lunhow was great but serious question, would he be able to do the same with the completely different circumstances he is walking in to? Little farm system depth, payroll high, best players are aging….totally different situation

The Astros called up pitchers J.P. France and Colton Gordon and infielder Shay Whitcomb to replace Jeremy Peña, Tatsuya Imai and reliever Jayden Murray, who was optioned to Triple-A Sugar Land.

Spencer Arrighetti should have been up here. Had no business starting another game in @SLSpaceCowboys went 6 string in AAA wasted that start. Could have been up here. Just don’t understand who’s making these calls? Bolton seems like more of a piggyback candidate at this point.
Now does Bolton get hurt everytime out? Probably not? But Arrighetti absolutely should have already been up here.

Unbelievable. Astros starting pitcher Cody Bolton is leaving this game in the second inning after a mound visit from a trainer. The Astros have already sent three starting pitchers home with injuries on this trip.

@brianmctaggart Dude has said a couple times it’s been a hard transition and he’s home sick. Give him a week off skip a start and let him go home and see family. Dude needs a reset.

Source: Astros RHP Tatsuya Imai is headed back to Houston today after recording only one out in his start Friday night in Seattle.

It’s just shocking how bad and unprepared this pitching staff appears to be.
Nobody can get outs. Nobody can have clean innings. It’s only April, but this is a disaster so far. The fact they have 6 wins already is almost impressive. You can’t win with this staff.
