I am extremely disappointed at the inappropriate, plan to build a ten-storey student flat block on the former ABC site, in front of Glasgow's crowning architectural jewel, the Glasgow School of Art. I am asking for the refusal of this application and urging for a revised design of reduced height that respects the architecture of Sauchiehall Street. You can read my full statement of my reasons for objecting below.

Sauchiehall Street is to be #Glasgow’s new Culture and Heritage District so at the pre-application consultations I urged @vitastudent to go and talk to @HeritageFundSCO and @glasgowlife about assisting retention of this symbol of Glasgow’s cinema heritage. Did they do this…🤔🤷‍♂️?

#MomentsOfBeauty in #Glasgow: It’s #Elections2024 and Pollokshields Burgh Hall is still the most beautiful polling station in Glasgow and worth a visit anyway + unlike the Kelvingrove it definitely was built the wrong way around from what was originally intended 😂🤦‍♂️🥰!
