Here is the data for the new strat i am testing and committing to . The hourly sweep for 2,3,4,5 and 6am. Entry is 5m candle close back into the range after the High/Low sweep of the range . TP is 50% retracement. RR is 1:1.5.

So once again, my TP was teased by 4 nq points. This is becoming a concern as i have in the last one week i have had to take atleast 3R loss, when i should be +4.5R at the moment. Lets see how this will end.

6AM magic hour stopped BE No desire to trade any more today pre NFP happy to bank my 1.3R and get off the screens for the day! Probably should of trailed my stop more aggressively to be honest being so close to TP but hey a green day is a green day! Happy with how I managed today

Using @nomadascalper indicator i tested the 5, 6 and 7am hours. I didn’t use any filters or bias. Just an entry at the optimal entry zone if midline hasn’t been hit yet and targeted 1.3r. 6 months into the year 56% win rate and 86.8r. It achieved no losing months or big drawdown.

@TheBank717 check the chart notations here for the 6am ET entry. Pls note the end of the range is usually the 6:55am 5min candle. Do not mix it up with the 7am 5 min candle because that candle is 5min into another range.

We hit TP on this one for the bag. Same process different day. Emotions will always be there but what do you do when it hits? Thats the real question. Back in the green for the day (yes little green).

So with 2 LOSS and 1 WIN i was able to remain breakeven. Thats what a positive RR does for you.

@PranavTelang_10 No discretion for my trades. 1. Because the backtest result did not involve any discretion and it was quite profitable. 2. I want a purely mechanical setup . 3. I want to have less screen time,so i created a bot to trade it(less rules since its mechanical).

@whyk008 Do you use any type of discretion on the setups?

6am hourly sweep in play....taking the setup if it shows, if you skip because of fear then you skew the stats.

TP missed by 4 pts. trade ended up hitting SL afterwards. Unto the next one

2am hourly sweep ended in a loss. Yes, loss is part of the game, take it and move on. #trading statistics

One loss and one win for me today. Magic hours really give me structure 🪄 +0.7R Its always a great feeling to start a funded account with a win. Very happy with how I managed today🤝

Guyz , how do you handle it when your first trade is a win. Do you trade other setup or u call it a day? I know it is easy to trade more when we start with a red but starting with a green kicks in the fear emotion against other potential setups.

@Mc5calpAfee Nice one , How do you handle days when your first trade is a win? It is easy to trade more when your pnl is -Ve but a First trade win make me doubt the next setup.

Two entries at the green box ended up exiting both at the 7 AM low 20 points per trade four wins one loss today 107 points overall shutting it down here
