My certificate is not ready yet, but guys... I finally did it! 🔥 I started day trading 21 months ago. Got myself funded on my first ever eval 19 months ago and was eligible for a payout of $500 18 months ago, which I did not take, because I wanted to get more. Since then everything went downhill for a while. The solution to fix my trading was: - Drop ICT / SMC - Get into data-driven trading Now the next goal is to get payouts and pass more evals on the way! 🚀

@jamesfreddyc I believe the time range for the indicator is how long until that particular trade is invalid/timed out. So regardless of what hour you choose to start from, 5/6 or 7am they have a 3 hour time window to allow the trade to play out

@Rossmc_85 I get so confused because "6AM hour" vs. the actual range being used for the indicator 🤣 I saw another post mention 7am but they referring to 0600-0700 range.

6AM magic hour stopped BE No desire to trade any more today pre NFP happy to bank my 1.3R and get off the screens for the day! Probably should of trailed my stop more aggressively to be honest being so close to TP but hey a green day is a green day! Happy with how I managed today

@jamesfreddyc Just playing the previous 1H candle sweep of high/low back to midpoint

@Rossmc_85 0500-0600 is the end of the 4hr candle (2am-6am) then 0600-0700 range is the start of that new 4hr candle. This indicator is playing on the wick form of those 4hr candles?

5AM Magic hour handled🪄 Took ES over NQ because of relative strength. I skipped the second entry on reclaim of the range, don't want to take on any extra risk before NFP. +1.3R

Two losses today -2R Happy with how I traded. Stuck to the game plan. Onto tomorrow 💪🏻

@JKBTrades_ One of my biggest causes to tilt is getting a few ticks from TP then reversing and stopping me out. Almost smashed my screens a few times 😂 So its just finding a way to not let that happen I suppose

as it is harder to get those reps in in backtesting - I suppose it is just up to time to tell you keep getting the experience and journal those trades where you trail I don't trail the stop as such but will close the trade if we get 1pt from TP sometimes if the trade has been going on for a while

-$192.12 day. Looking back, both the losing trades were avoidable. The later setups were A+ in comparison 2am $NQ - Loss 5:30am $GC - Loss 6am $NQ - Win 6:30am $NQ - Break Even I'll always be transparent with my trading. @JKBTrades_ I have been aggressively trailing as its getting close ish to TP but I do worry that it’s going to really throw my stats out from my backtesting. However a green trade is a green trade so I’m not sure what stance to take on it

@Rossmc_85 It’s actually quite rare but typically if I know there is some news approaching or if I get very close to TP I was actually trying to close this at the time when I noticed some volatility kick in from the news but it took me out BE instead

6:30am - $NQ - Break Even This one hurt a little 😅 Clean rejection from VAL and closed above POC Strong reclaim of the range Trade was looking great and was 2pts from TP Until the Trump tweet! what could have been a +$800 day turned -$200 Overall I traded well emotionally but lacked some better excecution

41, late to the investing game! It’s no secret I’ve made some terrible financial decisions over the years 😅 Now I’m finally getting serious.
