Lowkey you’re not supposed to like Harry’s dad when you find out he was a huge asshole jock type during his days at hogwarts. Harry realizes his parents weren’t perfect which he had always sort of been led to believe. But they were prone to acts of childishness and bullying and teasing just like eveyone. And snap being bullied or just because he a halfblood but also for race would make sense considering his parents would have been at hogwarts in the 70s and lily met Snape in the 60s. It’s very possible black snape was one of the first black students at hogwarts.

I really doubt that happens that much… most women, if you’ve ever spent time around them, do their makeup at home and at most only do a touch up here or there trughout the day if it’s smudged or something. No one is doing a full makeup in a public restroom. Doesn’t matter how nice it is…

@Mschatnoir I'd prefer this over what they went with. No, the books does not list him as any kind of Asian, he's White. But this version could've pulled the "pasty and pale" look off. SE Asians does have a different skin tone than us Westerners, but they definitely can be very pale.

That would have been a cool swap too. Why are you setting up one minority getting a chance as a detriment to other minorities? Why do you think this is a zero sum game. Harry Potter famously has a lot of issues with how it handled Asian characters broadly. There is a lot to criticize, before knowcking down other minorities…
