I'm tired of people bringing this up, because unfortunately you're right, and it's the ONLY supporting argument that the Lions have for grit. Real, actual grit is perseverance in the face of adversity. The Eagles vs Bills game last year is a prime example of this. What the Niners did to ya'll in the NFC championship game last year is another example. The first half of the 2023 Eagles season and the Chiefs season this year has been all about finding a million ways to win despite the overall team playing lackluster football. That is grit. I'm not saying the Lions are bad or might not have grit, I'm just saying that they've only been winning in one way, and they haven't gotten to show much grit. They're going to need to start winning in different ways, and the playoffs will test that.
