The Australian eSafety Commissioner’s budget has been increased from $10.3 million to $42.5 million.
Prime Minister @AlboMP is using tragedy as an excuse to censor what Australians can see and say.
FYI, my appeal of the Commissioner’s order to take down my post will be filed shortly. It will be the first legal challenge in the history of the eSafety Commissioner’s office.

In response to questions regarding misinformation and dangerous content being published online after the Sydney Church and Bondi Westfield Stabbings, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese emphasises that he had QUADRUPLED the budget for the e-Safety Commissioner from $10.3 million to $42.5 million each year — and has since been in contact with his Communications Minister Michelle Rowland to aid in combatting this form of content being published online in Australia. 🚨 REMINDER: The “Combatting Misinformation & Disinformation Bill” will very likely be passed in Australia later this year.

@zero_sp26 @official_lesdog I just looked up the race. I’d forgotten that Holdens raced. HRT finished 5th (Percy & Grice). In my head, it was all Ford, Nissan and BMW.
