@Playerinthgame You know CG's whole thing is that they worry AI will kill everyone right? The idea that they'd be paying people to downplay the risks of AI is pretty silly. Karnofsky left CG two years ago, pretty sure Masley got his first grant in 2026.

They're absolutely obsessed with "tech will solve most things" even things like public transit most countries have already vastly improved without AI. Lol.

@binarybits @Playerinthgame Others and myself have straight up asked him about problems with housing/public transit and his biggest solution is "eventually technology will make things better". Lol. So, I don't know. He seems well meaning but maybe rich people aren't actually experts on everything!
