@gamer263579194 all of peoples interest in shelly is mainly due to fanon expanding onto her character. shelly is blandly written with minimal effort into the rest of her characterization (in canon, similar to others) is a cliché in and of itself, and comes off as extremely one-dimensional

@gamer263579194 i would have a different opinion if her entire storyline wasn't just "Sweet Ignored Character Trope" and actually delved into other characters traits that she could have, rather than just boiling her down to one specific thing constantly

@gamer263579194 + the overdramatization of forcing this trope down peoples throats ALSO drags other characters into the mud by mischaracterizing them (for the sake of telling and not showing)
