I don’t think you quite understand what I’m saying. FSD is unbelievably cool and unbelievably impressive. What is annoying is when people literally make it their entire personality or can’t even appreciate another car that doesn’t match it. I’m a car enthusiast, not a tech person. I’ve been in robotaxi and experienced FSD, I know and understand why people like it. What I don’t understand is the absurd people who that’s all they post about/care about when another car is brought up. The funniest thing is they believe it’s the only thing people care about meanwhile a small amount of Tesla owners have purchased FSD or subscribe to it.

I think it’s when people dismiss other vehicles that people are excited about because they don’t (yet?) drive themselves which is an impressive and fun feature that only 12% of Tesla owners currently make use of and even then only a fraction of the time and driving is so much more than than as is the feeing that a car gives us when we buy it.
